Volvo Vera

Southern Model produced this large scale model for Volvo Trucks to showcase the many possibilities of the Vera self-driving electric truck. First, Volvo’s state-of-the-art design requires no fuel stops. Consequently, this offers a cheaper alternative for shipping goods across the country. Additionally, the potential savings in labor could revolutionize the shipping industry. In highlighting the Vera, we built a massive 10′ by 10′ scale model with a shipyard and warehouses. Volvo then projected colors and images onto the model to highlight their ideas at the ACT Expo in Las Vegas.
